The first Disney princess movie is released in 1937, which is more than 80 years from now. Over the 80 years, the gender roles expressed in Disney movies changed dramatically. In this episode, we are going to talk about the evolution of female and male roles that represented in Disney Fairy Tales.Our five speakers have a wonderful discussion about an evolutionary of female and male roles that represented in Disney Fairy Tales. We'd like use our understanding from Disney Fairy Tales and other sources (listed in references) to well answer the question, "How Disney represented the norm of gender roles for the social construction?"
